Friendly fire incident being covered up

So yeh, I KNOW this kinda stuff happens in war, we all do. Even parents of kids that are fighting there know this kinda thing happens and that it’s part of the deal.

So why is the Army trying to cover this one up and telling the guys involved that they need to change their story etc?
