An interesting Bernie thing…
So Bernie Sanders is raising absolute hell, and the large scale media is basically ignoring him, or as in this case, questioning whether he can do it or not, but goddam!! He’s drawing GIANT crowds THIS early in, and let’s get clear, it’s not just that he drawing crowds, it’s that THE PEOPLE are so relieved that someone is actually addressing what THEY want to hear, that THEY are going.
I think the distinction is important because THEY really want to be heard, and they KNOW no one else hears them, and definitely no one else will speak for them, so it HAS to be Bernie, and they are going to force this thing forward.
Bernie is right about the grassroots thing, and people know this is a crucial time, one where if this takeover isn’t beaten back now, the next few years are going to become very difficult for us as the 99%.
An interesting last note in this report – tomorrow Marc Rubio will be in town….to talk to a private gathering of petroleum manufacturers, (old white dudes with money who “matter”), and Jeb will be in Simi Valley talking to more of the same, tho I think that one is open to at least reporters.
I’m starting to worry for Bernie….his opposition isn’t truly Hillary or any of the other cabdidates, it’s in fact the #TyrantClass in total, and THEY know it. And as far as they’re concerned, this is literally trillions each year of what they consider to be their money being threatened. This is a group of people that care not what damage they do in the pursuit of money/power, be it killing innocent children in far away lands, or getting YOUR kids KILLED in far away lands killing the kids there, or poisoning entire populations both at home and abroad with Frankenfoods, shitting in literally every single thing we eat, place we visit, air we breath, water we drink, and planet we live on in the pursuit of an economic fiction that was made up to control people….what would YOU do if you were them and Bernie turned into a serious threat, or even won, and all your power/money was suddenly at risk?
I know what *I* think they would do, and I think they’ve done it before when Presidents have gotten out of line, (and don’t kid yourself, Obama was and still is entirely their man, watch what happens with the health industry consolidations).
So yeh, I worry for him. I think he knows exactly what he is dealing with, and I think it’s a terribly brave thing he’s doing, and I’m DAMN SURE going to honor that effort and sacrifice by voting for him…well…that and that I think he’s right about almost everything he speaks to.

In this country as in most, the goal is to transfer public wealth into private hands, wealth at that level and amount really only being power, as money is a fictional concept anyway.
THAT is the truth….people can argue about politics all they want, Dem/Repub etc, but it’s all a fool’s game if you focus on that dance.
Free markets without regulation will ALWAYS produce a kind of cannibalism, no matter how many Rand-ian fantasies fill high school student’s minds and never leave.
BTW, what’s going on in our country right NOW could not possibly be a better example of exactly that.
The Koch’s will tell you that they are just practicing their own form of Economic Darwinism, and that they are only doing what the system allows them to do…..which is true, but they will never admit the machinations and expense they go to in order to make SURE that the system “allows” them to practice their form of “libertarianism”.
You will see many arguing FOR this kind of thing, as tho it’s somehow just and as though they themselves will have a shot at it, or a part of it.
It’s NOT a meritocracy, they were BORN into a position that allowed this warped Destruction Fetus to grow into what it has become.
You would not be able to do it, and you will not share in the fruits of this system, but think so if you like, they are happy to have your help…just don’t expect a check for your efforts.
None of this shit we’re in is accidental.
Nor is it justifiable under any system, except one that only measures the human experience in terms of money.

I think this conversation needs to have this part, where there is light being shed on the fact that the provision was added and what it means, BUT, there needs to be a through explanation of HOW it was inserted without debate and/or opposition, and the people who put it in need to be exposed, and all of their ties to ANY kind of beneficiaries of it need to be described in clear detail.
Yes this speech is important, but why aren’t we hearing about HOW THIS WAS DONE?!?!?!

If you think it ‘s likely that government exists to enforce, codify, enable, enhance, further advance and codify the very rich’s power over our society and to criminalize, prosecute, attack with every means available, and bury completely anyone and/or any system that challenges their right to take whatever they deem is their’s from society at large and individuals who challenge them in specific, then this is something you MUST watch.
It exemplifies that absurd artifice that we live with each and every day as we struggle to “play by the rules” to move ourselves forward in life, while those with power and money steal EVERYTHING from us and talk about the “American Dream” mercilessly crush every effort to return to legality and an open level field for all.
It’s sickening how pervasive this is, and in this microcosm that tells the story in one person’s case we can see the blatant and horrific wrongness in our system, and how controlled and corrupt it truly is.
You’ll never hear about this movie, but you will be riveted by it, and you NEED to see it.
