It&#8217;s been great for getting together with old friends etc, but aside from that the site is broken half the time, has no really serious tools for artists, and is basically full of bands clamoring for each other&#8217;s attention as though that will do any damn good, and a LOT of them just plain SUCK.<\/p>\n<p>There, I&#8217;ve said it, we all know it&#8217;s true.<\/p>\n<p>I can&#8217;t keep waiting for them to get it together, and in the meantime I&#8217;ve found a <strong><em>GREAT<\/em><\/strong> site that works extremely well for both the artists and the people who like them, called <a onclick=\"javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('\/outgoing\/www.reverbnation.com\/still');\"  href=\"http:\/\/www.reverbnation.com\/still\">ReverbNation<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This site has REALLY great tools for working on your career instead of your website all the time, (and let&#8217;s face it, yeh I can build websites and have even done for money but there&#8217;s no way I can compete with a fully funded staff of serious thoughtful pros, and why WOULD I?), respects the listener&#8217;s privacy, and makes it really easy to do what I need to do online without spending gobs of time on it&#8230;.I couldn&#8217;t be more pleased with it.<\/p>\n<p>No I don&#8217;t work for them, nor do I know them, I just recommend things I think rule, this does.<\/p>\n<p>I hope you&#8217;ll go by and check it out, maybe even sign into my part of the site if you like, but in any case, if you&#8217;re an artist you MUST have a look and see if it doesn&#8217;t make sense to you, I think it will&#8230;&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ok, I&#8217;ve had it with this lame-o MySpace thing.
